Four days ago at Kaimana Beach in Waikiki a Hawaiian Monk Seal was born on the beach. Rocky, the mother, was oblivious to the many beach goers and tourists nor the upcoming July 4th weekend. Her job was to bring a new pup into the world regardless of the world hubbub around her. Fortunately a platoon of Marine Animal specialists were notified. They cordoned off the area and stand guard twenty-four hours a day to make sure Rocky and her pup have their space. The simplicity of this spectacle on the beach can't help you want to enjoy the moment of this grand experience.
